We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2023, at the age of 86, Worthel Parks of Avon, Illinois, born in Marietta, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Worthel Parks and Freda Parks (Reneau); his son-in-law David Lorton; his nephew Justin Hart; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Anderson and Marvin Thurman.
He is survived by : his wife Catherine Irene Hart; his daughters, Michele Lorton and Lisa Diestelkamp of Fenton, MO; his grandchildren, Brittni Lorton, Gabrielle Sharp (Justin), Ryan, Meghan, Lexi and Shaun Diestelkamp (Mikael); his sisters, Dorothy Thurman of Rushville, IL and Marabel Fowler (Brad) of Rockford, IL; his siblings-in-law, Duane Hart (Kay) of Marietta, IL, Dwight Hart (Connie) of Macomb, IL, Linda Anderson of Knoxville, IL, Larry Hart (Marsha) of Marietta, IL and Martha Powers (Everett) of Knoxville, IL.; and his great grandchildren, Micah, Victoria and Scarlett. He is also survived by his family, grandchildren and close friends.
