He was predeceased by: his parent Scottish; his wife Gail; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his children, Scott Hopkins (Sherry), Shelly Hyland (Paul) and Brett Hopkins (Tina); his grandchildren, Jason Hopkins (Melanie), Alex Hopkins, Kaleigh Horney (Kenny), Andrew Hyland (Angela Lottes), Bradley Hyland (Carly), Matthew Hopkins (Kylene), Maxwell Hopkins (Allie), Madeline Hopkins and Mitchell Hopkins; and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Annabelle, Cameron, Emmett, Holland, Scottlyn and Theodore.
