She is survived by: her husband David "Chip" LaCasse; her son Matthew LaCasse; her daughter-in-law Wendy LaCasse; her son Mark LaCasse; her daughter-in-law Kate LaCasse; and her grandsons, Jack, Tyler (Matt), Arlo and Grey (Mark).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (120 Ela St, Barrington, IL 60010). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moretti's (128 S Wool St, Barrington, IL 60010).

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol's name can be made to Citizens for Conservation (https://citizensforconservation.org) or PAWS Chicago.
