He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Laura O'Connor (Terry) and Jeffrey Hartigan (Leslie); his grandchildren, Mallory Hartigan (Ryan), Bridgette Procida (John), Quinlan Hartigan (Madeline) and Jack O'Connor (Matthew); his great grandchild Margot Hartigan; and his sisters, Norine Keese and Mary Beth Byrne (Greg Byrne).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (120 Ela St, Barrington, IL 60010). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
