He was predeceased by : his parents, John and Violet; his in-laws, Gerald and Patricia Lundquist; his brothers, Mark and Tom; and his nephew Remington.
He is survived by : his wife Susan Bortell (Lundquist); his children, Kelsey, Maggie, Katie and Sean; and his sisters, Kate Bortell, Denise Wilkening (Dan) and Barbara Akins. He is also survived by his family, friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to American Cancer Society or other cancer charities.
