We announce the death of Jo Barkley (Barrington, Illinois), who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 96. Jo will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Notaro and Stephen Notaro; her husband Tom Barkley; and her siblings, Sarah, Nickie and Carm.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Agoston (Lou), Tommy Barkley (DeeDee), Nancy Halls (Gary) and Mary Jo Pausteck (Tom); her grandchildren, Lauren (Aaron), Jennifer (Ramayan), Leigha (Jim), Julie (Kyle), Stephanie (Chase), Caitlin (Tyler), Jessica (Luie), Melissa (David), Scott (Lauren), Joanna (Matt) and Allison (Davide); and her brother Frank.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint Anne's Church (149 W Main St, Barrington, IL 60010). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
