Kathleen Mary Sachtschale Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen Mary Sachtschale of Barrington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Rick, Tim and John; her husband Richard (Dick); her parents, James Walsh and Catherine Walsh; and her siblings, James Jr., Thomas, Sister Margaret Mary Walsh and Marilyn Goeke.
She is survived by: her daughters, Madonna Houser (Paul) and Julie Esau (Dave); her daughters-in-law, Ellen Sachtschale (Rick) and Johnna Sachtschale (Tim); her grandchildren, John Fitzgerald (Lisa), Savannah Hayden (John), Matt Houser (Kelsey), Andrew Sachtschale, Alex Esau (Katie), Eva Ogle (Nick), Maggie Sinz (Jakob), Katie Helmbrecht (Ryan), Miranda Mello (Aaron) and Rosie Sachtschale; and her great grandchildren, Audrey, Emma, Logan, Brook, Kennedy, Claire, Brooks and Easton.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (120 Ela St, Barrington, IL 60010). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (610 S Dundee Ave, Barrington, IL 60010).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kathy's name to the charity of your choice.
