She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Moreau and Lillian Moreau (Burke); her husband Ralph Buckingham Jr.; her sister Patricia Slack; her brother-in-law Lowell Slack; and her nephew Doug Slack.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Buckingham (John Dwyer Jr.) of Potomac and Mark Buckingham (Bobbi); her grandchildren, Raeann Buckingham (Sam Nixon), Amanda Buckingham (Morgan Burgess), Curtis Buckingham, Josh Buckingham and Sean Dwyer; her great grandchildren, Leila Burgess, Calie Burgess, Wyatt Burgess, Henry Nixon and Benjamin Buckingham; her sibling's children, Deborah Boyd (Skip), David Slack (Cathy), Diane Greco (Terry), Daniel Slack (Bari), Denise Ryan (Tom), Dayle Ellis (Ryan), Timothy Foster (Heather) and Anne Stephanos (Ted); and her sister-in-law Sally Buckingham Foster (Reese). She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
