Lynn Lenore Acerra Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynn Lenore Acerra of Barrington, Illinois, born in Hillside, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Carmen Acerra; her daughter Patricia Keane; her parents, John D. Rhymer and Virginia Rhymer; and her brother Marc Rhymer.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Acerra (Heather), Michelle Coleman (William), Marc Acerra (Tina) and Sebastian Gomez (Kasia); her grandchildren, Luke (Inéz), Alec Acerra, Tyler, Eric (Delaney), Victoria, Anna Coleman, Brooke, MJ Acerra, Michael, Julian, Brianna Farfan, Kristi Sampson and Patrick Keane; her great grandchildren, Luzia Acerra and Ryan Sampson; her sister Dee Ann Hill; and her close friend Bailey.
The lying in state will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Anne Catholic Community Church (120 Ela St, Barrington, IL 60010). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
She served on the boards of The Michael Joseph Foundation and Arden Shore Child and Family Services.
