Martha S. Istvan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha S. Istvan of Barrington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Christina Sekerak; her husband Donald Istvan; her father Michael P. Sekerak; and her siblings, Mary Kosmider, Ann Bobinsky, John Sekerak, Michael Sekerak, Nicholas Sekerak and Joseph Sekerak.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Istvan (Vicki Casmere) of Barrington, IL, Kristin Tarnofsky (Robert) of Long Beach, CA and Karina Istvan (Alan Sharp) of Pennsauken, NJ.; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Tarnofsky, Scott Istvan, Lauren Tarnofsky, Brooke Istvan and Gabrielle Sharp.
