He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Stern and Betty Stern (Cohen); and his wife Bernadette "Berni" Stern. He is survived by: his sister Myrna Grimm (late Kenneth); and his niece Lauren Grimm.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A Mass was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery Columbarium (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142).
