He is survived by: his parents, Yigit Sahinoglu and Jennifer Ceran Sahinoglu; his brother Alex; his grandparents, Mehmet, Gulnihal Sahinoglu and Gulcin Konan; his aunts and uncles, Mert, Natalie Sahinoglu, Efe, Marci Sahinoglu, Michael and Ahu Primeaux; and his cousins, Karl, Connor Sieg, Jacob, Stella and Aria Sahinoglu. He is also survived by the many friends, teammates, and classmates.
