She was predeceased by : her parents, Regina F. Bell Sr. (Durham) and John E Bell; her brother John Bell Jr. (Jack); her brothers-in-law, Lester Wright and Robert A. Carlson; and her in-laws, Harold and Lillian Carlson.

She is survived by : her husband Donald L. Carlson Sr.; her children, Donald L. Carlson Jr. (Diana), Jeffrey Todd (Erin) and Patricia Sue; her grandchildren, Donald L. Carlson III, Drew, Derrick, Ethan, Jonathan (Kristen), Madison, Gabriella and Regina; her great grandchild Ryan; her sisters, Carol L. Wright and Kathleen L Giordano (John); and her sister-in-law Karen Prickett (James).

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Tunnel of Towers – 2361 Hylan Blvd – Staten Island, N.Y. 10306.
