He was predeceased by: his parents, Ima Lee Chaplin Howell and Vincent Howell; his brothers, Vincent Wayne Howell and Howard K. Howell; his brother-in-law Steve Badgley; and his niece Mandy Bowen.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew Howell (Tabitha) of Manchester, IL, Samuel Howell (Rebecca) of Missouri and Michelle Wellman (Sean) of Pittsfield, IL; and his sisters, Bertha Badgley, Grace Rayner (Mitchell) and Carol Ward (Bob). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Samuel Taylor Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Pike County Animal Shelter.
