He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ward and Myrtle Ward (Whitaker); and his wife Marybelle Ward. He is survived by: his son Steve Ward (Shirley) of Plainville, IL; his grandsons, Samuel Ward and Joseph Ward; and his great grandchildren, Eliza G. Ward, Chazity J. Ward, Joseph M. Ward, Jr. and Brantlee S. Ward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
