He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Kreke, and Henry B. Kreke, Sr.; his wife Agnes "Aggie" Huelsmann; his siblings, Catherine Suetterlin (Martin), Veronica Kreke, Laura Pingsterhaus (Victor), Frank "Bud" Kreke (Celia), Henry "Hank" Kreke and Fred Kreke (Rose); and his parents-in-law, Fred and Caroline Huelsmann.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Gerdes (Ron "Hondo") of Bartelso and Patrick Kreke (Nikki) of Bartelso; his grandchildren, Kelsey Gerdes, Tanner Gerdes (Rylee Langa), Devin Kreke, Jaidyn Kreke and Dawson Kreke; his sisters-in-law, Dolores "Blondie" Kreke of Bartelso and Janice Huelsmann of Columbia; and his nephew John Rickhoff (Tammy) of Bartelso. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Cecilia Parish or the wishes of the family (checks payable to Donna Gerdes) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
