He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Slomiany and Elizabeth Slomiany. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Slomiany; and his children, Karen McGovern (Tony Chaves), Sharon Hanyzewski (Gene) and Bill Klein. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Bartlett (950 S Bartlett Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
