He is survived by: his wife Mary Grace Tremmel; his children, Jennifer Bury (Larry), Joseph Tremmel Jr., Steven Tremmel (Patricia) and Philip Tremmel (Bethany); his grandchildren, Rebekkah Carney (Matthew), Amber Dahlberg (Nathan), Hannah Bury, Sjeldon Tremmel, Lila Bury, Paige Tremmel, Skylar Tremmel and Gabriella Tremmel; and his great grandchildren, Everett, Ryann Carney, Vera and Cole Dahlberg.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Bartlett (950 S Bartlett Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103). A prayer was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Peter Damian Church (131 S Crest Ave, Bartlett, IL 60103).
