Leo Smoot Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025, at the age of 85, Leo Smoot of Bartlett, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Smoot and Dorothy Smoot; his grandchild Tylor; his former wife Susan Haenisch Smoot; and his siblings, Howard, Harold and Jane.
He is survived by: his wife Anneliese Mollsen; his children, Scott Smoot (Marjorie Hughes), Stacy Smoot and Christina Smoot; his stepchildren, Greta Salamando, Allan Mollsen (Terri), Adam Mollsen (Cathy) and Erika Alcathie (Joe); and his grandchildren, Gemma, Ryan, Naomi, Timothy, Susan, Andrew, Gabriela, Stella, Lorna, Sophie, Hailey, Audrey and Lily.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Journey of Hope Methodist Church (751 Army Trail Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
