He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil and Anna; and his siblings, Manfred, Joachim and Charlotte.
He is survived by: his wife Eva-Maria; his children, Hella (Rick) and Tim (Jenine); his grandchildren, Lukas, Bella, Sophia and Alex; his siblings, Rosemarie and Hans-Juergen (Marlies); his sister-in-law Ulla; and his close friend Hans Johannsen. He is also survived by his loving family as well as many dear friends, neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Bartlett (950 S Bartlett Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory (950 S Bartlett Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103).
