He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cecilia Medina Gelisan; his children, Carmen Menchie Vanichtheeranont (Alan), Teena Caramay (Eric), Raymund Gelisan and Clarissa Pot-Pot Garrido (Dominic); his grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, Raymond, Jessica, Riley, Janelle, Rachel, Isabella, Sophia and Clare; his parents, Bienvenido Gelisan and Modesta Gelisan; and his siblings, Melania, Milagros, Bienvenido Jr., Reynaldo, Boy and Baby.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DuPage Funeral Chapel (951 W Washington St, West Chicago, IL 60185). A prayer was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (30W350 Army Trail Rd, Wayne, IL 60184).
