It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven J King (Bartlett, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James King and Evelyn King; and his siblings, Kathy Cabel and Patrick King. He is survived by: his spouse Michele; his children, James King (Renee) and Kara Johnson (Trey); his grandchildren, Seren, Margot King, Chase and Taylor Johnson; and his siblings, Sherry King, Eileen King and Larry King.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Journey Care Hospice, an organization that provided tremendous support and care.
