It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvester J. Rajterowski of Bartlett, Illinois, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Helen; and his brothers, Alfred and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Karen Rajterowski; and his brothers, Taddeus (LaVerne), John and Anthony "Tony" (Carol). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sylvester's honor to either Northwestern Memorial Foundation or Rush University Medical Center.
