He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gibson and Ruby Gent Gibson Sr.; his children, Mark Gibson and Penny Gibson; and his siblings, Charlene Smith, Georgia Falatko, Shirley Whaley and John Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Yarger; his daughter Patricia Lutton (Robert) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Ryan, Joshua, Brittany and Clayton; and his daughter-in-law Marsha Gibson. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
