In the vast expanse of eternity, Joanne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joanne farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Angel and Pauline Angel (Morey); her son John Defreitas of Peoria; and her grandsons, Nicholas Defreitas, Bradley Defreitas and Zachary.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home (1107 W Garfield Ave, Bartonville, IL 61607). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Joseph's Cemetery (2105 W Heading Ave, West Peoria, IL 61604).
