He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elisha Adams and Verna Adams of Springfield, MO.; his wife Peggy Sue Seiler; his children, Gerald Adams of Bartonville, IL and Tana Hess of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Brandi Diffy (Eric) of Summerville, SC, Brittany Kuhl (Steven) of Murrieta, CA, Kylee Wright of Marquette Heights, IL, Sabrina Adams of Peoria, IL, John Michael Adams of Fairmount, IL and Faith Adams of Tampa, FL.; and his sisters, Barbara Ragon (James) and Ola Mae Locke. He was also cherished by 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in John Adams' name to St. Jude.
