It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Michael Mirande of Bartonville, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Mirande and Carmela Mirande; and his brother Michael Mirande. He is survived by : his wife Marjory Waterman; his children, Janine Young (Kurt), Cheryl Mirande, Mary Lujan, Mark Mirande (Lisa) and Lisa Sandvos (Matt); his grandchildren, Laura Janssen (Craig), Kristen Huff (Travis), Nicholas Moody, Paige Moody-Heskett (Steven), Alicia Leija, Troy, Tara Lujan, Jared, Jenna Mirande, Rachel and Jack Sandvos; his great grandchildren, Reese, Finn, Ezra Janssen, Kendall, Nolan, Lucas, Beau Huff, Sophia Heskett, Elijah and Elizabeth Leija; and his sister Angela Mirande.

Preferred memorials in Joseph's memory may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2525 Skyway Road, Bartonville, IL 61607, where he was a founding member.
