She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Frey and Esther Frey (O'Shaunnessy); her husband Richard Melton; her daughter Debora Brown; and her granddaughter Jennifer Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Melton (Susan K.) of Bartonville and David Melton (Karen) of Bartonville; her brother Lee Frey of East Peoria; and her grandson Denny Brown, Jr.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel (1203 W Garfield Ave, Bartonville, IL 61607). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Fondulac Cemetery (143 Arnold Rd, East Peoria, IL 61611).
