He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Monroe and Amelia Monroe (Behrends); his wife Marilyn Foster; and his brother Kenneth Monroe. He is survived by: his sons, Brent Monroe of Des Moines, Iowa and Mark Monroe of East Peoria; and his brothers, Jerry Monroe of Bellevue and Bill Monroe of Bartonville.
