She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Gordon Wright and Joan Wright (Kirchgessner); her sister Tara Wright Richmond; her son Jean-Luc Lee; her granddaughter Mia Denler; her former life partner Clifford Evans; her husband John E. Hessing; her children, Christina Hessing Colville (Jeff Chase) of Bartonville, Elizabeth Hessing (Collin Duncan) of Dunlap, Stephanie Johnson-Eggers of Peoria, John Jr. (Melissa) and Scott Hessing; her siblings, Joe, Bernie, Phil, Tommy Wright (Laurie), Barbara Lambie, Cathy Pollock (Danny), Kelly Grasso (Joe) and Molly Tharp (Charlie); her father-in-law Kenny Burnside; her sister-in-law Patty Barnett (Gary) of Colorado; and her granddaughter Sue. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and plants (she had a black thumb), memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or METAvivor Research.
