It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Russell of Bartonville, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Toniny and Rose Toniny (Fehl). She is survived by: her husband Tommy Russell; her sons, Scott Russell (Tania) and Tony Russell (Kristie); her grandchildren, Katie, Megan and Jacob Russell; and her brothers, Bob Toniny (Chris) and David Toniny (Mary-Lynne).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Club Phoenix II (4602 W Pfeiffer Rd, Bartonville, IL 61607).
