She was predeceased by: her father Harry McMurtrie; and her husband David. She is survived by: her mother Beverly McMurtrie; her brother Harry McMurtrie, Jr.; her sons, Brent (Pam Eernisse), Craig (Katie Fitzgerald) and Todd; and her grandchildren, Tatum and Caia.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to Bethany Lutheran Church in Batavia, IL.
