She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Stemmermann and Valeska Stemmermann; and her husband Bill. She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Houghtaling Walker and Anne Houghtaling; her grandchildren, Hope Marie Walker and Matthew Brian Walker; and her sister-in-law Ann Malone. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Doris's memory to the parish nursing program at Christmas Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, Palestine or to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
