She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Johnson and Julia Johnson (Green); and her husband Arthur Shipp. She is survived by: her children, Keith Hanie (Tammie) of Garland and Sandra Akers (Kim) of Batavia; and her grandchildren, Stacy, Brian, Cordelia, John, Hannah, Will and Zoe. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Oaks Funeral Home (500 Hillcrest Dr N, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Shooks Chapel Cemetery.
