He was predeceased by: his parents, R. V. Henderson and Marie Henderson (Brooks); and his brothers, Sonny and Perry. He is survived by: his wife Janice Wells (Owens); his former wife Charleen Henderson (Light); his daughters, Connie Bond and Stacey Clark (Tim); his grandchildren, Sydney and Owen; his stepdaughter Pam Metzger-Downen (Drew); his stepgranddaughter Krista Marx (Bryan); his family Paul David Wells (Reene); his sisters, Annette Springer (Ronnie) and Jeanette Seabaugh; Carter, Shay, Justin Zinkel (Jessica), Lincoln, Samantha Listen, Heather Breytenbach (Kyle), Elijah Louise, Brooks Deen, Skylar Strayhorn (Dakota), Weslynn, Colter Kane, Carlton, Levi, Serafina, Addie and Jody.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Batavia Moose Lodge (1535 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510).
