He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Reckinger (Jaccard). He is survived by: his father Peter Reckinger; his wife Debbe Reckinger (Grebe); his children, Dan Reckinger, Steve Reckinger (Amanda) and Christy Reckinger-Laczynski; his grandchildren, Ty, Kc Laczynski, Ezra, Myles, Silas Reckinger and Ella Reckinger; and his sister Mary Coffey (Charles). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Moss Family Funeral Home (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
