She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Hitchings and Freida Hitchings; her husband Richard Benson; her son Mike Benson; her grandson Chad Lootens; and her sister Arline Neusus.
She is survived by: her children, Kathie Lootens (Robert), Lorrie Warner (Steven) and Keith Benson (Linda); and her grandchildren, Becky Hull (Stephen), Peter Benson (Christine), Ashley Mancino (Dee), Kelly Warner, Jason Warner (Mandy Waddel), Jennifer Zietz (Ben) and Adam Enriquez (Rachel Santora). She is also survived by Eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
