He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Chistopherson; his children, Christopher Stewart, Daniel Stewart, Elizabeth Ponzo (Mike), Anthony Ponzo and Annette Rivera; his siblings, Donald Stewart, Ellen Stewart and Sean Stewart; his grandchildren, Samantha Rivera (Tyreese Singletary), Joseph Rivera, Abigail Sutton (Carson), Nicholas Rivera and Andrew Rivera; his great grandchild Milani Singletary; and his nieces and nephews, Amber, Andrew, Angelica, Divan, Colin (Alexa), Cody (Hannah), Connor, Chloe, Tiffany (Richard), Kendra (Kyle), Brittany and Michael Jr.. He is also survived by loving father to his children and stepchildren, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moss Family Funeral Home (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
