He was predeceased by: his parents, Quay Herwick and Catherine Herwick; his sister Shirley Gutermuth (Blaine); and his son Scott. He is survived by: his wife Caryl; his son Steven (Nimi Gonsalves) of Chicago; his daughter-in-law Karin (Wilson) of North Aurora; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Sonali, Kiran and Devan.
