He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Romani and Lorriane Romani (Littlefield); his brother Allen Romani; and his son-in-law Franklin Allen. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ellen Romani; his daughters, Becky and Kirsten Allen; his grandchildren, Dalton Allen, Brittany Vertheen (Derick) and Garrett Allen; his great grandchildren, Creed Vertheen, Theodore Allen and Cody Vertheen; and his brother John Romani (Kathryn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moss Family Funeral Home - Batavia (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510). A prayer was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (2300 Main St, Batavia, IL 60510).
