He is survived by: his wife Paulette Burnidge Romke; his stepchildren, Melissa Hauge (Brian) and Brett Romke (Mary); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Brooke, Haley Hauge, Kylah and Evan Romke; his siblings, Thomas Peiffer and Sharon Britz; and his nieces, Tracy Herrick (Jeff) and Nancy Gertz (Darren).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moss Family Funeral Home (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
