It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Dean Lowry of Batavia, Illinois, who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Lowry and Alberta Lowry (Saltzman); and his son-in-law Mark Vermeland. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Timm; his daughters, Danielle Fischer (Buddy), Margo Vermeland (Brad Clark) and Toni Wolgast (Jeff); his grandchildren, Teagan Wolf (Austin), Kelly Albarran (Brandon), Tyler Fischer, Joey Wolgast, Kayla Vermeland and Faye Yates; his great grandchildren, Kinzley Wolf, Warren Wolf, Trevor Yarbrough and Breonna Yates; and his sisters, Barbara Schmidt (Dan) and Becky Whitt (Stu). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moss Family Funeral Home - Batavia (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Moss Family Funeral Home (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510).
