He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Evans and Bessie Evans (Wadley); and his brothers, Ronnie Evans, James Evans and Rusty Evans.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Turner; his children, Susan Evans, Bessie Humphries (Dean), Kenneth Evans, Miranda Webster (James), Florinda Evans, Kris Evans (Alisha), Scott Evans and Haley Evans; his stepsons, Jeff Elliott and James Elliott; and his siblings, Josh Evans, Rodger Evans and Patty Bridgeman (Dave). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grand children.
