He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. "Hank" Cohee and Virginia L. Cohee (Holmes); his wives, Phyllis Gilmore and June Burgett; and his siblings, Tommy, Adrian, Nelson, Larry Cohee, Sue Ann Yaeck and Sheila Munsch.
He is survived by: his children, Leha Yackley (Anthony) of Bath, Tammy Horner of Springfield, Stephen Burgett of Bath and Rick Mathany of Havana; his sisters, Brenda Cohee of Havana and Denise Maberry of Havana; his grandchildren, Cameron Clevenger, Lane Yackley, Chase Horner (April), Mackenzie Horner, Kayla Roos, Katelynn Burgett, Madison Leake and Aaron Mathany; his great grandchildren, Maverick Malott, Savannah, Lance Horner, Elijah Tarvin, Gabrielle, Daniel and Lily Mathany; and his great great grandchild Summer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Snicarte Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Bath Village Hall (205 E 1st St, Bath, IL 62617).
