She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Roberts and Marjorie Roberts (Eckelberger); her husband Jimmy Howard; her sisters, Mary Clendenny (Paul), Hazel Ghrist (Robert), Juanita Griffin (Herb), Margaret Jean and Minnie Booker (Bill); and her brothers-in-law, Larry Duke and Craig Schwalb.

She is survived by: her sisters, Ruby Duke, Lynda Contreras (Ricardo) and Freda Edwards (Vern); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brady Duke, Shelby Duke, Zach Schwalb of Craig, CJ, Gabby Conkright, Shawn Malone, Chelsea Verticchio, Martin Grisham (Alexis), Michael Grisham, Makayla Grisham and Andy Teaney (Danielle); Keegan Grisham, Keizer Grisham, Baylie Teaney, Kaynan Schwalb, Bentley Teaney, Brayden Teaney, Waylon Malone and Brooklyn Teaney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
