He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Turner and Frances Turner (Daum); his son Aaron Turner; his father-in-law Jack McDonald Sr.; and his in-laws, Phil Gengenbacher, Thomas Gegenbacher and Vernon McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Edith McDonald; his children, Amber Fryer (Kenneth) of Mt. Sterling, IL and Andrew McDonald (Gabby) of Griggsville, IL; his grandchildren, Jaiden Simmerman, Cooper Simmerman, Liam Fryer, Adycan Armistead and Jacklyn McDonald; his siblings, Roger Turner (Carol) of Kokomo and Martha Wilkinson (Barry) of Olathe, Kansas; his niece Tracy Wilkinson; his nephew Jeff Wilkinson; his mother-in-law Gloria McDonald; and his in-laws, Stanley Gengenbacher, Gary Gengenbacher, Gayle Harrison, Rita McDonald-Neff, Theresa Forshey (Alan Harshman) and Jackie McDonald (Brittany).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Niebur Funeral Home (530 W Adams St, Pittsfield, IL 62363).
Memorials are suggested to be made to the Samuel Taylor Cemetery.
