Beverly J. McPherson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly J. McPherson of Beach Park, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Beverly J. McPherson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Darlene Freward and Bernard Freward; her husband James McPherson; her son Anthony Dean DeSoto; and her siblings, Bonnie Hall, Carole Ladwig, Randy Colp and Steven Colp.
She is survived by: her children, Constance DeSoto, Timothy Kane, Ronald Slocum, Steven Slocum (Beverly) and Carole Bounds (Robert); and her siblings, Sandra Heinz, Jeffery Colp and Richard Colp. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Congdon Funeral Home (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Congdon & Co Funeral Directors (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099).
