The family announces the passing of Bonnie I. Anderson of Beardstown, Illinois on August 28, 2026. Bonnie, born on July 19, 1938, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy T. Newell and Eva Piper Newell; her husband Calvin Lee Anderson; and her siblings, Leah Wuben (late Charles), Flossie Robertson (late Burt), Leota Cunningham (late Jack), Percy Newell (late Rosie), Sam Newell (late Norma), Amos Newell, Jack Newell (late Darlene), Donald Newell (late Thelma) and Dale Newell.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Lee "Rod" Anderson (Jeannie) of Beardstown; her grandchildren, Jordan Lee Anderson of Beardstown and Danielle Renee Merriman of Beardstown; her great grandchild Lilliana Grace Merriman; and her friend Edith McDougall Harris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Edie Harris' Home.
