He was predeceased by: his parents, David Scott and Mary Martin Hoover; and his wife Rosie Mary Guerra. He is survived by: his son Christopher David Hoover of Beardstown; his sister Susan Basham of Florida; and his nieces, Amy Yuzenas and Sarah Dickenson.
