With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Kay McKenzie of Beardstown, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, David French and Marie Shaurette French; her husband Earl Everett McKenzie; her brothers, Jack French (Judy) and Bill; and her close friend Delores Kay Boice (Donald).
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Meyer (Eric) and Jill Paul (Darin); her granddaughters, Ashlee Paul Curtis (Michael), Jessica Meyer Mauro (Joe), Allison Paul (Brett McGinnis) and Sydney Meyer Mast (Austin); her great grandchildren, Rylee, Oliver Curtis, Jordan Mauro, Oaklynn and Rynlee McGinnis; and her brother Roy French (Barbara). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Sangamon Valley Presbyterian Church, Cass/Schuyler Area Hospice, or Bread of Love, and should be directed to Colwell Memorial Home, 515 S. State St. Beardstown, IL 62618.
